Do You Want to be the Best Version of You?

Pro Bono Coaching

The reason I’m writing this post has nothing to do with writing. I am doing this to offer you a beautiful gift, so read on.

Who can testify having been stuck in life? Be it in relationships, career or plain, evasive rut of “I-don’t-know-what’s-wrong-with-me” department, most of us have had the taste of it.

And there’s no shame in admitting it. At times in life people reach a fork in a road. It is a point when they become disconnected from the resources that they already possess within them. How uncanny is that?

I’ll give you an example. I was with this fine lady who attended Life Coaching training last weekend with me when she started telling me about how the constant voice within her keeps shouting to do more, achieve more, earn more. . . it was all about more, more and more. She has this constant need to be someone to someone. From where I saw, she was already doing great. She is a hypnosis expert helping people quit smoking, lose weight and all other bunch of awesome stuff. Yet, she was dissatisfied.

As the conversation progressed, she started shaking in her chair. I asked her few questions which, in hindsight, seem to be spot on because she now started going in to the abandoned territory. After some heart to heart discussion, it turned out that her eldest 28 year old was constantly pushing her buttons, and although she longed to be appreciated and accepted by him, she was in pain due to this. I realised that there was a clear connection between her need to be appreciated and her son’s demeanour.

We just did one session but it was clear to me we’d need more. At the end of the session, I made her write down her immediate next goals regarding her business and growth. One of them was to increase the petty rate she was charging her clients. She promised herself to take it to the next level. What’s most important to me was that she was smiling with confidence by the end of those 45 minutes.

It is not magic. It is not hokum. It’s pure results. And it’s already within you. With the client above, do you think I did something? Nope, I was just the guide. It’s she who did all the work! I am telling you this so you know you already have all the resources within you.

Why did I tell you this?

I am seeking 3 pro bono clients to help out as a coach. You heard it — I won’t charge you a penny but our sessions together may unveil something that you never knew before. The whole thing about coaching is about giving what you can give.

You may be wondering why I am doing this on my blog — offering you the opportunity. I could have easily chosen three friends or acquaintances. Like I said earlier, it is my gift to you. It definitely feels more vulnerable than having to call up a few mates and offering my services, but hey, we’re all on a path to grow, aren’t we?

The idea is to offer 6 one-hour coaching sessions (valued $990) to those who sign up.

If you’re interested, just leave a comment, or for quickest response, email me through the Contact page.

Do you want to be the best version of you, and you’re not sure how? Then say “Yes” to yourself and let’s make this happen!

    Hi Pooja
Should the people you are assisting with coaching be located near you or can this happen across different countries? I am in South Africa. I’d love the opportunity as someone else often offers a different perspective on things and may have certain ideas or suggestion which one would not have thought of.
I have just made a big life-altering decision to quit my job and follow my passions and I have mixed emotions of fear and excitement. I know what my passions are, I just haven’t figured out how to make money from them!

      Hey Deev,

There is no such need. You could be on the moon, and we could still chat (all you need is an Internet connection and Skype).

I hear you. Why don’t you get in touch with me at pooja@ghostwriterpooja.com and we can take it from there.

      Love,
      Pooja

PS. I read your blog — very touching Deev. It takes guts to open up to the world like you’re doing. Love you for this! Can’t wait to know more about you.
